EPC - Project Sales

We're looking for a EPC - Project Sales with a solid foundation in technical sales and a proven track record of success.  The individual needs to have experience maintaining existing business, building relationships, and seeking growth opportunities and driving new sales in domestic and international projects.

  • The EPC - Project Sales position will have the overall responsibility for the pursuit and winning of designated strategic projects in domestic and international supporting Pepperl-Fuchs regional sales within assigned EPC Accounts and project sales influenced by these accounts.
  • Responsible for coordinating the International designated project activities working directly with EPC's, DCS channels and with Pursuit leaders and members globally.
  • Review commercial bid specifications to determine acceptable risk profile for each project in pursuit.
  • Responsible for the accuracy and integrity of all projects and activities in the CRM for Project Pursuits.
  • Work with the Sales Directors/Managers EMEA/Asia/AM and the Process Automation Executive team to ensure all projects in pursuit have a strategy and action plan in place to maximize the win percentage.
  • Provide feedback to the local Sales Manager and the Pursuit team on competitive activity, products and tactics, and price thresholds on projects.
  • Ensure CRM activities, quotes, feedback and plans for projects in pursuit are in alignment with the plans and budgets of our Solution Engineering Centers and other Manufacturing facilities.
  • Key Account Management of a limited number of main ECPs and/or DCSs on European/Asian/Americas level.
  • The position is managed directly by Executive Vice Presidents EMEA/AP/AM and in the coordination with our EVP in Asia Pacific who coordinated the International Pursuits.
  • Assumes additional responsibilities and performs special projects as needed or directed.


  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Marketing.
  • 5 to 7 years minimum sales experience with at least 2 years in a global environment.
  • Ability to work and communicate in a global setting.
  • Experience in the Oil and Gas industry is preferred.
  • 50% travel.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications as well as the use of the intranet and the internet.
