As a Electrical Project Engineer you will be responsible for the process of our projects for resigning new or improving existing production applications, control systems, developing new production processes and procedures and ensuring the certification required are maintained and accurate. This is a great opportunity to collaborate with our teams in Houston, TX and Twinsburg, OH and our teams in several other countries.  This is a great opportunity to utilize both your electrical skills and your planning skills to create new solutions for our customers.


  • A combined role as both a Project Engineer and Project Manager.​
  • Develop and manage multiple projects.​
  • Utilize your knowledge of basic electronic circuits and basic mechanical packaging.​
  • Use a “hands on” approach to research, design, develop, and test electrical products and systems.​
  • Directly interface with the customer to design custom solutions.
  • Schedule projects and communicate project statuses.
  • Deliver key project milestones to customers and develop and optimize a critical path.


  • Bachelor’s Degree in one of these concentrations:
  • Electrical Engineering
  • Mechanical Engineering
  • Electrical Design
  • Electrical Engineering Technology
  • Mechanical Engineering Technology
  • Must have a strong understanding of electronic circuits and electronics.
  • Process automation experience (including fieldbus equipment and Intrinsically Safe (IS) circuits) 
  • Good understanding of power and grounding as well as heat dissipation.
  • 3+​ years of Project Management experience in design, development, and assembly of electrical projects.
  • Experience using Microsoft Project.
  • Understand project sequencing.
  • Experience with resource loading and planning.
  • Experience using AutoCAD for design of layouts and mechanical products
  • Ability to convert customer requirements into finished product, with identification of components required, and development of Bill Of Material.
  • Ability to schedule the manufacturing of finished products, from one unique product or 400.


  • Understanding of control systems such as DCS's or PLC's.
  • Experience in a panel shop doing designs, schedules, manufacturing or assembling of the finished product will be a huge plus.
  • Understanding of basic standards (NEC, UL, CSA, and IEC) and their applications for products.
