North East Regional Sales Manager 

We're looking for a North East Regional Sales Manager  with a solid foundation in technical sales and a proven track record of success. Responsible for all sales activities within a district including maintaining existing business, building relationships, seeking growth opportunities and driving new sales.

Responsibilities:

  • The North East Regional Sales Manager  will have the overall responsibility for managing the account managers in the north east territory.
  • Performs sales management activities and drives business in the assigned region.
  • Makes calls on all current customers, maintaining strong relationships.
  • Prospects for new business and follows up on leads to grow the region.
  • Performs market research in order to find new opportunities. 
  • Establishes and directs quoting process for territory.
  • Manages the activities of the District Sales Managers,
  • Manages sales channel consisting of representatives and distributors.
  • Accountable for meeting sales and budget requirements.
  • Directs staff by coaching, training, counseling, and disciplining employees, and planning, monitoring and appraising job results.
  • Maintains detailed records and prepares communications as needed.
  • Interacts professionally on a regular basis with staff and the general public.
  • Assumes additional responsibilities and performs special projects as needed or directed.
  • Conduct presentations and sales calls at designated target account sites.

Required:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or equivalent work experience in technical sales.
  • 10+ year’s minimum experience selling complex technical solutions.
  • Experience in industrial sales strongly preferred
  • Travel approximately 50% of the time.
  • Track record of over-achieving quota.
  • Experience working with CRM.
  • Familiarity with different sales techniques and pipeline management.
