Administrative Assistant / Customer Service Representative

A leading developer in the global automation market, Pepperl+Fuchs is looking for an energetic, creative individual to fill its immediate need for an Administrative Assistant / Customer Service Representative for our office in Hoover, AL.

As an Administrative Assistant you will be responsible for providing support for the engineers of the Vision System Division.

Responsibilities:

  • Making travel arrangements.
  • Entering expenses into reporting tool.
  • Creating, maintaining, and reviewing reports.
  • Data entry into two different databases; Movex and Siebel.
  • Preparing products for shipment and receiving shipments.
  • Additional administrative duties including: filing, answering phones, and writing correspondence.

The background you'll need:

  • Minimum 1 year of experience as a receptionist or administrative assistant.
  • High school diploma or GED
  • ​You will need to be confident, assertive, organized, responsible and have a service attitude. 
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office especially Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to read, write, and interpret reports and business correspondence.
  • Ability to organize work, multitask, and consistently meet deadlines.
  • High attention to detail and good follow up skills.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and solution focused.
  • Proven skills with travel arrangements (domestic and international) and meeting/event coordination.
