As a Receptionist you will be responsible for being the greeter for our variety of visitors both in person and on the phone.  

Responsibilities:

  • Supports general office with a variation of duties and administrative tasks including answering telephones and greeting customers
  • Prepares monthly and special reports.
  • Creates presentations, organizational charts and other documents as needed. 
  • Directs visitor to destination (if appropriate), records name and person called upon.
  • Collects and distributes faxes and messages and operates fax machine.
  • Supplies information to callers and records messages.
  • Sort and distribute all mail.
  • Distributes emails out of general mailbox to appropriate departments.
  • Composes correspondence, reports and forms.  Proofreads material and corrects grammar, spelling and word usage.
  • Schedules meetings, organizes visits from other parties and visits to other parties. 
  • Plans and arranges lunches and training sessions as needed.
  • Develops and maintains computerized spreadsheets and databases. 
  • Generates reports; produces, revises or refines formal presentation materials using presentation software.
  • Maintains filing systems and performs basic data entry functions. 
  • Maintains detailed records and prepares communications as needed.
  • Interacts professionally on a regular basis with staff, vendors, customers, and general public.

The background you'll need:

  • Minimum 1 years of experience as an receptionist or administrative assistant.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office especially Word, Excel, Outlook.
  • High attention to detail and good follow up skills.
  • You will need to be confident, assertive, organized, responsible and have a service attitude. 
  • High school diploma or GED
